Upcycling (ah ah)

Do you have the same problem with your kids' PJ? The top is ALWAYS too small before the bottom. So, because of the economical crisis and all that, we upcycle here (what a ridiculous term). A bit of fabric and we now have PJ that can last a while longer....

The (big) day has arrived.... A t-shirt was in order to celebrate. Of course, my "twin" was due a t-shirt too. So as it is my birthday, I thought is would be nice to do a little game (oh so simple). Each t-shirt has a message at the back, which one applies...

Quilting

Ca a commence avec ces chemises anciennes qu'une amie de ma mere m'a donne. Qu'en faire? C'est qu'il faut leur faire justice... elles sont precieuses. Alors je me dit, les mettre (pas possible), les teindre (peut etre), en faire un sac (possibilite) et...

Grande fille

Deux commandes pour une "grande" fille de presque 40 ans qui aime danser avec des t-shirts un peu bling et des talons très hauts. Imaginez ce que thing 2 a dit quand elle les a vu: Je veux les mêmes!!!!!!!!!! En fait, je suspecte fortement que thing 2...

oh la la!

Thing 2 only speaks french under torture which is a shame because he has a lovely French accent especially when she says oh la la, her expression of the moment. Every so often I feel compelled to remind her of her origins..... So here the "oh la la" t-shirt...

New designs

Privee de MAC l'été, il me reste toujours le carnet ah ah. Nouveaux motifs pour les t-shirts d'hiver et d'autres a venir... No access to the sewing machine in the summer I still have the note book ah ah. New designs or the winter t-shirts more to com...

Recycling

Un jean préféré trop court, un grand revers cousu et hop un pantacourt. A favourite pair of denim jeans too short, a big sewn turn up et here is to a three-quarter length pair of trousers.

Teachers rock!

She had bought one for her baby (forgot to take photo!) and she wanted one for her teacher husband. Both will received theirs as a surprise for Christmas. Elle en avait acheté une pour son bébé (oublie de prendre une photo!) et elle en voulait un pour...
