Busy

Not much time to blog because I have been busy organising this. In a town where independant shops can be counted on one hand, I am trying to promote local talent! A bit of softness in a brutal world can only be a good thing, don't you think? Pas beaucoup...

Upcycling (ah ah)

Do you have the same problem with your kids' PJ? The top is ALWAYS too small before the bottom. So, because of the economical crisis and all that, we upcycle here (what a ridiculous term). A bit of fabric and we now have PJ that can last a while longer....

The (big) day has arrived.... A t-shirt was in order to celebrate. Of course, my "twin" was due a t-shirt too. So as it is my birthday, I thought is would be nice to do a little game (oh so simple). Each t-shirt has a message at the back, which one applies...

Bricolo

Crafting with the kids during a rainny Saturday afternoon. This is the state of the dinning table. Not to mention the glitter pot that my daughter dropped on herself! We have a very glittery house now. I am still hoovering it! But it was so much fun....

Nouvelle annee

Une année 2009 assez positive with nice holidays, quelques projets restent a concrétiser en 2010... On croise les doigts bien fort pour que Mr British garde son job.... cette foutu crise.... deux grands anniversaire a fêter (au secours...) et couture...

Atelier peinture

Le temps était apocalyptique dehors aujourd'hui... Donc cocooning avec film, jeux de societe et bricolage. Mais plus de chocolat en poudre pour faire des chocolats chauds..... la loose totale. The weather was apocalyptic outside today.... so cocooning...

Thing 2 only speaks french under torture which is a shame because he has a lovely French accent especially when she says oh la la, her expression of the moment. Every so often I feel compelled to remind her of her origins..... So here the "oh la la" t-shirt...

Oh elle m'enerve

Bon déjà, elle s'installe sur mon "territoire" a deux pas de chez moi en plus. Et la, sa vitrine c'est carrément de la provocation moi je dis. Non mais si tous le monde se met a coudre, je deviens quoi moi hein?! Bon faut avouer qu'elle est belle sa vitrine...

Feerique

I am not normally the "fluffy" kind, but somehow, this sheer fabric inspired me a bit of romantic softness (whatever that means!). I added a bit of feathers to add to the fairy effect. Thing 2 said it was ugly.. but then she is not really a "fairy" kind...

Suzy est une petite souris qui sera en vente avec sa jumelle au profit d'une unité de prématurés. Elles sont super simples a faire (si, si) et il est pas trop tard pour s'y mettre.... jusqu'au 15 octobre. Si ça vous dis, c'est elle qu'il faut contacter....

Malgré les magasins qui ferment a tout va (est-ce pareil chez vous?), ma petite entreprise connaît pas la crise. Il y encore un peu d'argent ou j'habite ou les gens commencent a apprécier le fait main local (ce qui est bien possible). Bref, mon marche...

Special order
